What Causes Stomach Discomfort With Nausea And Vomiting?

I m 21 and Female. I ve been having stomach issues for about 6 months with no real diagnosis. Recently i ve been having strange wave-like feelings in my head that last maybe 3-8 seconds. Its the same feeling you get in your stomach when on a roller coaster or riding a swing, but inside my head. It doesn t hurt or make me dizzy, it s just uncomfortable. Sometimes I also feel kinda shaky, but not really like i m going to pass out. Over the past couple weeks it was happening occasionally and maybe up to 20-30 times during the day. Now it is happening almost constantly. I ve also been experiencing nausea some, especially in the mornings, and throwing up some days after I wake up. I ve gotten headaches/migraines for years, but have had them bad recently also.

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Stomach discomfort or nausea or vomiting could be because of excess stomach acid or acute gastritis, gastroenteritis, gastric ulcer or Helicobacter pylori infection or food allergy.

Migraine is a recurrent headache associated with nausea, vomiting or photo-phobia.
Generally it occurs at only one side of head and characterized by pulsating over head and generally not relieved by OTC analgesics which requires ergotamine sumatriptan, antidepressants.

You must undergo routine blood investigations and H.pylori, liver function tests, urinalysis and stool for blood, abdominal ultrasound and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to detect the underlying cause.

Treatment is mainly depend on the cause but you may take symptomatic treatment meanwhile.

Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole or rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.

You can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or bismuth subsallicylate to reduce the burning sensation.

Thanks and Regards,
