The cause of pain after food with frequent motions stopped temporarily by Flagyl 400 and Aciloc 150 can be either gastritis along with colitis. The recurrence of pain and heaviness indicate inadequate treatment. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get the stool tested and if the infection is present you need additional antibiotic active against colitis; continue Flagyl and Aciloc. Take boiled and cooled water. Take home-made fresh food. which should be soft and bland means no spices and oily things. Take plenty of oral fluids. If required get oral re-hydration solution. Take anti-spasmodic for symptomatic relief. Lomotil or Imodium i the loose motions persist. Always better to get a clinical evaluation and examination along with investigations as and when necessary.
