What Causes Stinging Pain In Mouth?
I have a cut towards the back of my mouth on my gums. I don't know how I got it. I woke up one morning and it hurt. When I eat it hurts also it's like a stinging pain here and there. When I touch it with my tongue it hurts. What is it called and how do I get rid of it? Or at least help the healing process.

There can be various reasons for the cut including a sharp tooth and accidental bite at night. Another reason may be that it is not actually a cut, rather it may be what is called an apthous ulcer , which is easily treatable.
