What Causes Stiffness In The Knee With Pain Around The Patella?

My 23 old daughter thinks she hyper-extended the right knee playing volleyball last night on a quick stopping movement at the net. Has stiffness in knee with limitations on full straightening and last night had pain above and below patella. She iced and feels somewhat better today. She had ACL surgery on this knee 4 years ago but has been using full strength for sports since. Suggestions on how to proceed?

she should use kneecap. take x-ray of knee joint. it can be torn ligament fracture of bone. consult orthopaedic surgeon. treatment can be recomanded after diagnosis. can apply analgesic ointment ant take tab combiflam tablet two times daily.
