What Causes Sticky Saliva In The Mouth?

What causes my saliva so sticky and the inside part of lips (moist part) is sticky like I have eaten some glue. and at times I am getting mouth sore which will stay for about 2 to 3 weeks and gone. and another mouth sore will appear in another part of my mouth. Can you tell what is this? What I need to do?
