What Causes Spotting While Taking Qlaira For Uterine Bleeding?

Hi goodpm Im taking qlaira because of abnormal uterine bleeding which happened last jan 10. i was found to have PCO. I am maintained on qlaira im on my first pack. I had breakthrough bleeding since 16th tablet of the back and I still have spotting right now (currently on day 7 of bleeding but only spotting) right now. Should I be worried or this may just be a way of my body adjusting to qlaira?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

What you are experiencing could have two possible causes to it, the more likely one being your polycystic ovaries, and the second being a side effect of the medication itself.

Please report any all symptoms to your doctor for further management.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
