What Causes Sporadic Chest Pain When Diagnosed With High BP?

I am a 65 year old male in reasonably good health. 6 tall 180 pounds. No regular medications. I have been experiencing moderate and sporadic chest pressure/pain for the last couple of weeks. Not persistent, and not particularly painful...but occasional and concerning! My blood pressure can measure a little high 135/90, but I have never been diagonised with high blood pressure. Thoughts??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your blood pressure is slightly high and not alarming...

Chest pain is occasional Hence cardiac cause here less likely...
But better to investigate with EKG for rule out cardiac cause if present. .

If no cardiac cause present (by Auscultation and EKG) than it could be muscular pain or stress related pain..

Take care

Meanwhile take low salt diet and eat healthy foods

Hope your concern solved

Consult physician for examination with keeping all this in mind
