What Causes Spontaneous Erections After Insertion Of A Cardiac Stent?
my husband recently had a widowmaker heart attack but a sent was place and blood flow restored. There was fairly major damage to the heart. Tonight he mentioned that in the past few days he has been having spontaneous erections throughout the day. Normal? A result of the stent placement?

I understand your concern.
Getting spontaneous erections can be considered as normal and there is nothing to worry about. Following stent insertion, adequate blood supply to most of the organs would be restored. Since erection is dependent on blood supply, he might be getting it often. Gradually, it should subside and he should be back to normal.
