What Causes Spongy Bowel Movements?

hello. i have a question for you. my body has not been able to produce solid stool for many man months. it doesn t feel like dirorea because it doesn t come on in that way. my bowl movements are norman fore the most part besides that. i have tried taking a fiber supplement for a few weeks with no change. my stool is in the consistency next to watery to soft spongy at best. is this something i should be worried about?

You have problem of alternative hard stool and loose stool that may bevecause of irritable bowel syndrome.

In irritable bowel syndrome stool consistency and frequency both are change. More mucus secreation is stool.Abdominal bloting problem.

Lack of water and high fiber diet may cause hard stool.
Intestinal infection may cause this type of symptoms.

Proper physical examination and history give exact idea.
Stool examination test is helpful for further diagnosis.

Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
