today I woke up with splitting headache and all of my teeth were hurting. Lately I have been having headaches but not like today I felt as if I was going to vomit I had nothing to take for it and it lasted for at least 3 hrs. I ate lunch and it eventually went away.

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Splitting headache, pain in all teeth, nausea and vomiting and disappearance of pain after eating point towards the possibility of your having a migraine headache.

The headache is triggered by empty stomach, too sour foods like lemon, chocolates, going out in sun etc.

I would advise you not to skip means and keep having food in 2-3 hours interval. In addition, if the migraines occur frequently and it is compromising your quality of life, then you should see a physician to start the treatment for migraine.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
