I have suffered from a vinegar or sour taste in my mouth for about 2 years now. It comes and goes. Sometimes it is intense and sometimes not so intense. I have asked my doctor and he has no answers. could you give me some clues as to were I might start to find out what is going on.
it could be sialoadenitis /partial sialolithiasis(inflammation, infection or partial salivary duct obstruction by a calculus or stone formation)causing the problem. you keep your orodental hygiene good, start with mouthwash and a course of antibiotics. you can undergo a sialogram or sialoendoscopy if that doesn't work seeking ENT reference.however it can be simple gastroesophageal reflux or post nasal drip. SO you can also start with TAB PAN 40 D one tablet before breakfast for two weeks.hope you find solution to your problem.
