What Causes Sound From Knees While Walking?

I'm sudhir, 20 male !
A year back my right knee hitted to road, at that time i have little inconvenience while folding, but that reduced as time passes
Now after a year of that accident, im observing a sound while im folding the leg and some times while walking.

I really appreciate your concern the knee joint is very fragile joint among all the joint this gives crunching sound rubbing sound even after it has got no injury or any pathology the producing of such sound is not fully known, here in your case you have a history of injury (Although injury may not cause any sound after such long period) just to rule out the possibility of meniscus injury it is better to go for MRI scanning, hope this information helps you have nice day,
