What Causes Sores Developing Into Pimples Followed By Itching?

i have sores on leg below knee, tail, stomach,ect.they start like a knot,then pimple thencrazy icthing specaily at nite. when i think they bout gone it starts again. scabies? i have no money ins. i wondered if they is free treatment available in my state of alabama

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
The condition you described is called scabies. Its a kind of parasitic infestation caused by a mite.
Consult a dermatologist, who would prescribe you oral drugs like ivermectin and antihistaminics. Also, apply a cream containing 5% permethrin, below neck onwards to cover whole body followed by bath in warm water after 8 hours. Do not repeat the same unless advised. Ideally, everyone in the family should be examined and treated in similar way to prevent recurrence.
Launder clothes and beddings in warm water.
Maintain proper hygiene.
