Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother has said that the other day she woke up in the morning and found her right leg sore and that her leg was dragging somewhat when she walks. She has since seen a dr but since she is on the public system in Africa has to wait until Tuesday to go to a hospital and they will run some tests. She says her right leg is still dragging a bit, otherwise seems ok. I don t want to alarm her but for myself what advice can I give her and what are your thoughts on what has caused this?
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your mother got foot drop but see is improving now. No need to worry. As it is improving it will gradually improve. She can take Mecobalamin for speedy recovery. She will need further test such as MRI to know its cause. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
