What Causes Soreness In Ear Cartilage?
I have a sore on the cartlege of my ear. Dermatologest said he thought it was sleepers ear. It has come and gone now for almost a year, It looks like an infection. He gave me some cortisone to put on and it went away for awhile. it is quite painful.. Any ideas

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that this could be otitis and for that it is better to see the ENT surgeon and not to the dermatologist wax impaction could be the cause and this need be ruled out and if it is there then wax need to be removed, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
