What Causes Soreness At The Upper Rear Of The Head?
I have had a head ache for 6 days. It s a soreness toward to upper rear of my head. It s contestant but feels worse when I gently shake my head. Additionally, my scalp is very sensitive. It feels like a soreness between my skin and my cranium. It is mostly noticeable on top of my head but not my forehead. I am also getting chills. They are mostly down the center of my back but at times radiate to most of my torso. I have temps ranging from 98.6 to 100.6. Two night this week I have experienced extreme night sweats. I had diarrhea for the first part of the week and threw up once. Any thoughts would be helpfull.
I went through your question carefully and understood your concern.
I think that your symptoms may be caused by a viral infection. The diarrhea is not a symptom of neurological disorders. But having gastro-intestinal disorders, headache and fevers is very probable to be caused by an infection.
I would recommend you to consult with your GP, have a careful physical examination and a routine blood test for a probable infection. A consult with the infection disease specialist and further tests to establish the cause may be needed.
