What Causes Soreness At The Incision Site Of Foot Surgery?

i had surgery on my foot. i had naviscular sydrome and they shaved down the bone and detached my tendon and reattached it. i got the surgery january 1st and it still soar when i am on it for along time just and it gets alittle red where the incision is is that normal?
