What Causes Soreness And Blisters In Throat?

Hello. I had a sore throat which came on quite quickly. I then noticed my tonsils where swollen and had white spots, I then noticed I has blisters in my throat. These blisters have now spread onto my tongue at the back. The sore throat had gone and the swelling has gone from my tonsils but the spots remain on them and I still have blisters in my throat. What could this be ?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The blisters and ulcers over the throat and tongue can be because of the herpetic gingivostomatitis, this can result in blisters that ruptures to leave ulcers which causes pain. This can be associated with regional lymphadenopathy. So nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take, topical anesthetic like lignocaine, and topical analgesic like choline salicylate. Do saline gargling.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
