ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion, it is probably a case of reflux disease.

If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed proline tic drugs with proton pump inhibitors once daily for 2 weeks.

Avoid oily and spicy foods. Don't leave your stomach empty for long hours. Eat short and frequent feeds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepashree

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your query, you have symptoms of sore throats with burning sensations which are pointing towards a condition known as gastroesophageal reflux disease which leads to release of oesophageal sphincter and it could be due to infection of upper respiratory tract.

It can also occur due to side effects of certain medicine or food allergy. You should take meal in small and frequent intervals. For now, avoid carbonated drinks, spicy food, alcohol and acidic foods.

Keep bed little higher on head side and take antacid. I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may order blood test, saliva measurement test and allergy test to confirm the diagnosis. Take combination of antibiotic along with anti-inflammatory drugs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
