What Causes Sore Throat With Swollen Glands?

My throat is sore and my glands are swollen , it hurts to swallow as well and it hurts to move my neck. I have tried using buckleys complete but it doesnt seem to be helping. about a month ago i was sick with the same sort of this except i had coughing as an added symptom, i have a trip comming up in just over a week, is there anything else that could help?

You are concerned that you are having increasing sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. This is a very significant infection and I recommend that you seek medical attention. From your symptoms it appears that you may have strep throat. This needs to be confirmed and then started on oral antibiotics. If the strep screening is negative then it may be a viral illness and will resolve on its own within 1 week.
