What Causes Sore Throat, Nausea And Vomiting?

Hi. I ve had ring worm for almost two months in my hand, it s huge, blistered, bleeds and extremely painful, and started to spread on the same hand. I ve tried apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, coconut oil, toothpaste, shampoo, and cow iodine. Now, suddenly, I have an insanely sore throat, very swollen and red and covered in white blotches..... And random, short bouts of nausea and some vomiting, and night sweats. And hip pain. Are they related? Or, am I crazy? What s going on? Thanks !!

Hi Dear,

welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat, nausea and vomiting is because of strep throat which is due to streptococcal infection and it could be due to tonsillitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin for 5 days. You should take anti-inflammatory painkiller Ibuprofen for relief from pain and inflammation. Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily. Do warm saline gargles. Gargle with an antimicrobial mouthwash. You should take steam inhalation with vaporizers. Visit ENT specialist once and get throat culture and sputum test done to find out exact cause and start treatment accordingly. Avoid spicy, hot and sharp food substances. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best wishes,
