What Causes Sore Throat, Inflammation In Gums And Cheeks And Numbness In Tongue?

I have been to the doc twice now with all negative strep tests and blood work all normal. I have a sore throat thats very red and veiny. My gums and cheeks are inflammed with sores on them they feel numb at times and have a burning sensation as well. My tongue is very sore and has the numb feeling too. Mouth feels dry yet I seem to have plenty of saliva....

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The soreness over the throat, tongue and gums along with numbness feeling can be secondary to herpetic gingivostomatitis or aphthous stomatitis. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take topical anesthetic like lignocaine and topical analgesic like choline salicylate. Do saline gargling.
