What Causes Sore Throat During Pregnancy?

i am 38 weeks pregnant and have a sore throat and a white spot at the back of my throat. I have finished a course of penicillin but it has not gone away. could it eb something more sinister or is it just my immune system being compromised due to teh pregnancy?

Hi, you have completed course with penicillin but sometime bacteria are resistant and donot rspond to certain medicine.You can take Augmentin along with betadine gargle and cetrizine. Try to increase immunity with more of fresh fruits like orange, guava and must take milk. Keep clearing your airways by doing yoga like pranayam. Maintain good hygiene and take proper rest.
