ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Throat infections can cause pain and enlargement of glands in the neck. In that case, there will be pain on touching that area in the neck.
Usually lymphnode enlargement is seen in tonsillitis or infected aphthous ulcers.
If you have fever in the presence of an epidemic condition it's always better to rule it out.
