What Causes Sore Throat After Snorting Crystal Methamphetamine?

My friend is complaining about a sore throat after snorting crystal meth. We are keeping him hydrated but he is still complaining about a severe sore throat. Is there any ways to heal the sore throat, along with sores on your tongue in the inside of your mouth

keep him in antibiotic course
rx
t.celeclav 625 mg tds
t.dynapar sp tds
t.metrogyl 400mg bd
c.pan 40 od (empty stomach)
c.cobadex od
for three days if not heal exceed course for five days
gargle 3-4 times a day with betadine mouthwash
avoid alcohol spicy food and smooking
drink lots of water
