What Causes Sore On Anus?

I periodically get a single sore on my anus. Doesn't really seem pus-filled, just like half the diameter of a pencil eraser and really sore when I wipe. Lasts about 5 days then disappears. May not come back for 6mos to a year. I was checked for all STDs and the only one they said I had was HPV because they found cervical dysplasia (low-grade, squamous cell, intra-epithelial lesion.) any ideas?

Hello
As you stated that that there is a sore on your anus .
Diagnosed as HPV , because of cervical dysplasia .
However it is very difficult to establish any diagnosis mere history of sore .
May be:
1 Hemorrhoids .
2 Fistula in anus .
3 Cyst .
So in my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion because physical examination is important.
Good luck.
