What Causes Sore Breast, Painful And Prolonged Period?

I have been bleeding for 13 days straight since my last period , it has no end in sight & I'm having breast tenderness & having cramps outta this world ! This has never happens to me , I've always had regular periods ! What could it be ? &&I should I be concerned ?

Hi,
I can understand your concern.
Heavy periods with breast tenderness in child bearing age can be due to -
- use of depot contraceptives
- abortion,.
- hormonal imbalance
- uterine fibroid.
* you need to consult a gynecologist, get investigated & start with specific treatment advised
till then take rest & you can take mefenamic acid capsules to control pain/bleeding.
