What Causes Soft Bump On Forehead Post Head Injury?
My 12 yr old son hit his head, in the middle top part of his forehead on a granite countertop. There no knot but a large spot that is soft and squishy to the touch. He blacked out for a couple of seconds after it happened, but seems fine now. I have hear stories about people hitting there head, feeling fine and dying the next day. Is that possible?

Boggy swelling after head injury is mostly soft tissue swelling. Nausea, vomiting, bleed from nose or ears, black outs, black eye are danger signs of serious head Injury. You should get him reviewed by physician. Meanwhile give him combiflam to reduce pain and inflammation, cold sponging and omeprazole to prevent NSAID induced gastritis.
