What Causes Smell In Urine And Stool Of A Child Along With Fever?
my 19 month was running a high temp all day yesterday it finally broke around midnight, yesterday he had mushy dirty diaper and it smelled like her diapers when she was a baby and had rotavirus...her pee is also smelling like rotavirus dirty diapers. Today she woke up congested and had a fever no dirty diapers but she isn t wanting to eat, we are keeping fluids in her, she has had horrible gas today that smells like the rotavirus diapers. I just want to know if she could be fighting off a small bug or is it possible to have rotavirus without the diaherra?

Hi, probably your child has stomach infection, i don't think it is due to rotavirus as fever is also present. You need to do a stool routine microscopy test and the child will probably need antibiotics like oflox syrup for 3 days. Since, drugs in children are given according to weight so you need to take the child to local doctor or revert back with exact weight of child. Take care.
