What Causes Small Skin Tag Hanging Close To Anal Region?

Small tag (pea sized, drop shape) hanging from in or every close to in the anus. No pain or blood but itchy and uncomfortable. Sometime feels like I didn't 'clean' myself well enough. Slightest pain after I first found it and rather than leave it alone in felt it. I am 20 not unhealthy but due to being a student sit for long hours? Is this hemorrhoids or something else.

You seem to be having Anal skin tags....which are actually just harmless growths hanging from the skin close to the anus.

As I already mentioned they are harmless to overall health, but they may cause problem of hygiene and also that area may get irritated due to friction with clothing or long periods of sitting.

I would suggest that you consult your local physician and get the skin tags examined just to rule out any possibility of cancerous growth.
Also the ideal treatment would be to remove them which is a simple procedure and will be performed by the consulting physician.
Meanwhile, try to sit in a warm water bath for almost 15 mins daily to cleanse your anal region thoroughly to avoid any infection.
