What Causes Small Lump On Left Side Of Neck,headaches And Diarrhea?
hi, i have discovered a small ball sized lump on the middle of the left side of my neck near my ear, in the past few days i have also experienced diarrhea tension headaches and symptoms of ibs. I often get thyroid swelling and am awaiting a scan to have it investigated but my blood tests have come back normal. Should I worry about this?

If the blood tests are normal then it is likely that there are no significant issues with the thyroid gland though this would have to be confirmed by the scan.
Thyroid masses do not normally wax and wan , there are other structures in the neck that can cause swelling that may need to be investigated.
Tension headaches are due to stress or anxiety.
These can cause cause diarrhea in some persons.
There are criteria for diagnosing IBS , your doctor can assess you to determine if you fit the criteria.
