What Causes Slight Indent On Top Of The Head Of A Child?
my 2 yr old has a slight indent on top of head about 5 inches from forehead. not sure if it was there before. I was puyting jim in the car and accidentlu hit the top of his head on top door opening n minivan. I dont think it was that hard. He is expieriencing some speech delay not sure if its related also

Thanks for your question. The speech delay is unlikely to be related to the bump on the head. The dent is common after a head injury and is usually due to fat necrosis at the site of the injury. It will improve with time. Best wishes
