What Causes Sleeplessness While On Zolpidem 10mg?

my doctor call me in medication zolpidem 10 mg tab because I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping at night I take is as needed not ever day. I still think I migh have to up my dosage. is their anything else out there I I could ask my doctor about since it not helping me sleep like they once did

zolpidem is a good sleeping pill unlike benzodiazepine they have low abuse potential. but zolpidem has short half time it might wake you up in the middle of night. to sort this out zolpidem is available in Sustained release prepration . i would suggest you to try that in sustained release preparation 12.5 mg zolpidem will be equal to 10 mg regular zolpidem.
