What Causes Sleeping Difficulty In A New Born Baby?
Hi , My baby took birth 3days before, and mother can t able feed milk as it s just three days of delivery and baby is crying so much it s not taking a nap for 30 minutes. I don t know whether it is coz it s hungry , or that BCG vaccination pain . And we re started today feeding her lactodex 1as per doctor consultation. I m worried it s not sleeping atleast for an hour .

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Mothers can feed the baby immediately post delivery so 3 days is not an issue, if the baby is not well fed that is direct breast feeding on demand or in 2 to 3 hrs the baby will be irritable. BCG vaccination does hurt but the recovery is quick. It must be noted that the best nutrition a baby get is from mother's milk, particularly the initial few weeks of life of baby needs mother's milk. It will contain immune building substances from mother which will help baby fight illness and also develops a bond between both. Kindly, observe baby for a day after breast feeding as explained above. If there is no improvement consult an expert.
