My pulse rate, which has typically run between high 60s and low 70s was 88 last week, and 100 (checked twice) last night. I am a regular walker so this is very unusual. However, I had burning pain in various parts of my body (eye, low back, foot, etc.) since November. Could the inflammation be causing the spiked pulse? And, if so, what can I do about it? They took blood last night to check my CRP + SED rate. Also, I am a type 2 (non-insulin) diabetic and this isn't helping matters any. Thanks for any help you can give.
