What Causes Skipped Heart Beats With Normal ECG In The Past?

My daughter is 18 years old and has been having skipped beats the past two days. She has a cold and periodically has had skipped beats in the past but never two days in a row. She had an echocardiogram when she was 13 because her doctor thought she heard a murmur. The structure of her heart is normal and no murmur was ever detected. Should I have her further evaluated?

Hi
thanks for asking HCM
I read your query and understand your concern
Iny opinion you should schedule a rhythm holter for your daughter
It is a device which is carried for 24 hours and will definitely rule out any rhythm problem
Depending on it result further examination may be needed
If it is normal you have no reason to worry too much
Hope my answer with help you
