What Causes Skin Peeling Inside The Mouth?

Inside of my mouth keeps peeling a few times a day, numb and tingly feeling also. It also goes through a stage where my mouth feels like it's being scalded. This has been going on for months and no one can tell me what is wrong with me. Also a few months ago I was eating a salad and the left side of my mouth started to droop. I went to the hospital thinking i was having a stroke, but the doctors have ruled out a stroke, all my tests, blood work, cat scan, etc.. all show everything is normal

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain feeling of skin peeling inside mouth,tingling and numbness and scalding or burning feeling indicates towards a condition known as BURNING MOUTH SYNDROME and it can be due to a number of reasons but in case if you have peeling of mucosa then it can be commonly due to DRY MOUTH..
While the other problem that is drooping of the mouth is due to Facial Nerve Disorder known as Facial Palsy or Bell's Palsy..
It can occur due to either trauma or viral infection of the facial nerve and for this you need an immediate consultation with a Neurophysician and get evaluated..
As of now do warm compresses over the left side of face..

For burning mouth syndrome consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and treatment can be planned according to the cause..

As of now do cold water rinses and suck on ice pops..
Drink plenty of water..
Chew a sugarfree chewing gum as it stimulate saliva flow and if dry mouth is the cause it will relieve the same..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
