What Causes Sinus Arrhythmia? How To Avoid It?

Hi, i have been asked to visit cardiologist for sinus arrhythmia.. I fell unconscious post hives and then i was rushed to hospital. The physician told me that i had irregular pulse rates, from low of 40 to high of 90, with in minutes and that happened multiple times during 20 mins.
Would like to know exactly what it is and why i am referred to cardiology, what measures needs to be taken to avoid this situation again.

Hi,
Let me explain you what is it and what is its importance.
An irregular cardiac rhythm in which the heart rate usually increases during inspiration and decreases during expiration . It is a NORMAL PHYSIOLOGIC CYCLIC variation in the heart rate related to vagal impulses to the sinoatrial node.
It is common in CHILDREN and young ADULTS and has no clinical significance except in ELDERLY PATIENTS.
I think I have answered your question .
If further any question you can ask.
Good luck.
