General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

There are many different medical conditions that may give you such symptoms. Firstly, since you are taking lyrica for nerve pain, numbness in arm may be another manifestation of a peripheral neuropathy. Such a symptom may as well be due to ions imbalances or vitamin deficiency.

I will suggest you get enough rest, eat well and healthy with some vegetables, add some B complex vitamins. Shortness of breath and upper abdominal pain may be independent of your nerve problems. Such a symptom could be caused by GERD/gastritis or a respiratory infection.

I will suggest you see the doctor for examination given that many different conditions may give you such a feeling. Tests that may help include:

- full blood count
- serum electrolytes
- ESR
- typhoid test
- malaria test
- fasting blood sugar and others depending on the doctor's diagnostic orientation.

You will also have to have you BP under check. Wish you good health!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mbuomboh Veranso
