General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
Sorry to know about your health condition.
Due to heart failure with ejection fraction 25%,there is building back pressure causing pulmonary oedema. This oedema cause shortness of breath.Pressure on kidney as well as reduced sp02,lead to disturbed electrolyte balance in body.reduced potassium, calcium levels may predispose to muscle cramps.
Also the diuretic therapy may also be responsible for electrolyte imbalance.
It is necessary to get serum electrolytes level evaluated and do follow up with your cardiologist.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks
