What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Fatigue After A Thyroid Biopsy?

2 1/2 yrs ago I had a thyroid biopsy and was told the 1.4cm nodule on the isthmus was ok, nothing to worry about. This month I had a ct scan which showed the nodule is now 2.7 cm. I am to have another biopsy this week. I just found out that the 1st biopsy results were inconclusive as not enough tissue was taken. I want to know if 2.7cm is considered large for a isthmus nodule. Also if this is making my SOB, fatigue, difficulty swallowing, voice change worse. Thank you!

If your symptoms are recent it could be due to the size of your nodule. If the increase in size has been sudden it needs attention. Either ways a biopsy is required to rule out malignancies.
