What Causes Shortness Of Breath And Chronic Cough?

keep having to use rescue inhaler. Worst in the morning as I wake up with difficulty to breath. After first 2 to 3 puffs of rescue inhaler, I could cough violently for 30 minutes. Intermittent inhaler use during the day. Inhaler will normally allow me to cough up a lot of clear flem. Concerned to used the inhaler so often. Don t smoke but at 61 years. Still active

take antiallegen for symptomatic relief.
