What Causes Shivering And Lethargy?

for approx. 2-2 1/2 months my husband has had fevers off and on, shaking and lethargy. The shaking comes and goes. Resently he has been taken off of two medications. Amalpodine and metopropol. His blood pressure seems to be stable, ranging from 133/56 to (last night) 177/94

Hello
Fever 2 & 1/2 months off & on with shaking and lethargy . He is taking amlopidine & metoprolol for high B P ,but his blood pressure is low ( diastolic B P ) , this may be the one cause of shaking and lethargy .
However fever on & off may be due to .
1 Urinary tract infection as all symptoms are an indication of kidney involvement , please get in ultrasound of both kidney with urine examination ( shaking and lethargy ) .
2 Resistant malaria is another such cause so get in blood film for malarial parasites.
3 Tuberculosis is another such cause get in blood for C B C & E S R ( for any chronic infection) .
There are so many other reason of such type of fever with lethargy as Congestive heart failure ( as a patient of high B P ) , anemia ( get in hemoglobin ) .
In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion.
