What Causes Sharp Pain On Left Side Of Back?
Iam having a sharpe pain on my back left side in the area about the 4th rib from the bottom it isn t constant unless I have been walking and standing a lot but when I cough it hurts so bad it almost brings tears to my eyes i woke up about a week ago fine about a hour after I woke up I coughed and immediately felt it I am a 32 year old male

I think the pain which you r getting can be due to heart problem or problem with the lung cover that is pleura.
for that you need to get an ecg done to rule out heart problem and get a chest x ray done to rule out pleural problems it will be helpful for me if you elaborate your problems a little more so that i can get a clear picture.
