What Causes Sharp Pain In The Testicle?

I have a sharp pain in my left testicle. It has appeared and reappeared about 3 times this year. It usually only lasts for a day and then disappears. The pain only appears when another part of my body touches it or if I lift it up with my hand. I went to the doctor 6 months ago for this problem and he said I did not have a hernia. Can you please help me?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
You have a classical history of pain in the left testicle only appearing when another part of your body touches it or if you lift it up with hand.
This is most probable related to the nervous problem giving paraesthesia.
You have to take another opinion of a General Surgeon/Urologist and insist on actual examination then only a diagnosis and an order for further tests will be helpful .
I find this answer helpful
