What Causes Sharp Pain In The Back?

I have on my left back side below ribs sharp pain and it has been a couple of weeks. The pain is getting worse. I thought it was my back since I ve had steroid shots in my back for disc bulges, but this is a different type of pain. I haven t tried ice or heat, so I was wondering if this could help or what this might be and should I see my PCP or Ortho Dr? What can I do in the meantime to reduce the pain?

hiii.this is related to spine pathology as you also have the previous component of bulge ...you should see the ortho doctor ...he will order MRI spine ...also you should try to keep your spine straight ...and please lie on hard bed ...and avoid unnecessary bending forward ...
