What Causes Sharp Pain In Sternum And Back?
Had a really sharp pain 2 days ago in my sterum and in my back at the same spot. Woke me up all night. Yesterday and today I feel like someone punched me below my ribs in the upper abdominal area. I ve tried tums, Zantac, baking soda in water. Nothing helps

You are showing signs of acute severe gastritis. Have you taken spicy food recently or binge of alcohol? Both can precipitate acute gastritis. Start tab pantocid 40mg twice a day empty stomach for the time being. Take visit to gastroenterology specialist for expert opinion. Avoid alcohol and spicy foods. Take bland diet.
