What Causes Sharp Pain In My Upper Left Chest?

I'm experiencing a kind a sharp pain in my upper left chest that seems to happen every 10-15 seconds and lasts about 1-2 seconds. It just started about 15 minutes ago and I've never felt it before now. I've just recently had an ECG and an echo stress test and everything was normal. I really don't want to go to the ER again. What could it be?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since your extensive cardiac work up is normal, no need to worry for heart diseases.
Sometimes muscle spasm can cause similar symptoms.
So avoid stress and tension. Avoid movements causing pain.
Avoid bad postures in sleep.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
