What Causes Sharp Pain In Groin Area When Urinating?

Hey, I ve been doing powerlifting for a while and sometimes when I urinate after my workout there is often a sharp pain in my groin area or even when I immediately jump into the shower. Not sure if this is a sign or something serious or just my body acting in accordance with the heavy lifting. Help?

Hello
Thanks for query.

Pain in groin aggravated after heavy exercises can be mostly due to Inguinal Hernia .

However this can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified General surgeon and ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis.

Please get it done at earliest to confirm the diagnosis.
