What Causes Sharp Chest Pains With Heaviness And Shortness Of Breath?

I have been having sharp pains in the left side of my chest, sometimes it's in the middle or even under both breasts. Heaviness in my chest and shortness of breath go along with this. I also get left shoulder pain. I have experienced this for a week now. Four years ago I had a complete workup on my heart: stress test, echo, and angiogram due to low heart rate all of this was normal.

Hi,
Thanks for asking query on health care magic.
Your history suggests it is ischemic heart disease.
It may also be due to pneumonia with pleuritic pain.
Some times acid peptic disease may mimic cardiac problem.
It is better to consult physician and come to a correct diagnosis before trying some emperical treatment
Hope this answer will serve your purpose.
